Here’s a nice quote from the Times Square Chronicles about my work in The Shelter’s GHOST LIGHT last month (and the reason why some of my fellow Shelties now refer to me as “The Woman In Red”):
“As you enter the theatre itself, a woman in red (Olivia Killingsworth), hauntingly sings of the night, its mysteries, and of the moon… I would have preferred an entire evening of just this.”

Get your tickets now, we close this Sunday! Here’s what Terry Schreiber, of T. Schreiber Studio, says:
“Congratulations to The Shelter for an innovative and evocative evening. Please try to catch this new company at work. It will be well worth your while.”
I’ve directed one of the six plays in this show, and I’m also performing as a vocalist during pre-show, intermission, and scene transitions. It’s a really interesting night of theater, so don’t miss out! Performances are tonight and tomorrow at 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.

This winter has been pretty brutal, what with Sandy and Nemo, but I’m keeping warm by doing live theatre, where it’s nice and toasty under the stage lights. Won’t you join me?
This week and next, I’ll be appearing in GHOST LIGHT, a collection of six short plays set on a bare stage under a single work light, with live music and sound effects. I directed one of the six plays, and will also be performing as a vocalist!
The show opens this Thursday at 8pm, and runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm through March 3, at the Gloria Maddox Theatre, 151 W 26th Street, 7th Floor. Get your tickets now!
